WHO WE ARE
JB Contractors Services specializes in accessible remodeling, bilingual proposals, and institutional partnerships. Every project is guided by empathy, technical precision, and a commitment to inclusion. We don’t just transform spaces—we educate our clients, respect their needs, and build solutions that truly make a difference. Our goal is to keep growing with integrity, offering quality and respect every step of the way.
OUR WHY
I do this because I believe everyone deserves to live in a space that offers safety, dignity, and autonomy. Accessibility isn’t a luxury—it’s a human need. Every project I take on is a way to contribute to a more just society, where design and construction respect each person’s reality. My work allows me to combine technical skill, empathy, and purpose.
OUR JOURNEY
1. How and when did you begin your journey in construction and remodeling?
I began over 20 years ago, inspired by the high demand I saw in this field. From the start, I was drawn to how this work directly impacts people’s lives. That motivated me to keep learning, refining my skills, and gaining experience with every project.
2. What was your experience like in Japan? What did you do there—or learn from work?
My time in Japan was transformative. I worked in environments where precision, discipline, and respect for process were essential. I learned to value order, meticulous planning, and the power of small details in every task. That experience taught me to work with focus, respect others’ time and space, and apply high standards of quality that still
3. When did you start your company in the US?
I founded JB Contractors Services in 2020 with the mission to offer accessible, bilingual, and technically justified remodeling services. From the beginning, I focused on serving both residential and institutional clients, always committed to inclusion, quality, and clear communication.
4. How many employees do you have now?
I currently work with a small but highly efficient team. Each member brings dedication, experience, and attention to detail, allowing us to execute projects with precision and quality. Though we’re few, we operate as a strong unit focused on accessible and technically sound solutions.
5. How many clients have you had since you started?
Since launching JB Contractors Services, I’ve had the privilege of working with over 100 clients, including residential families, educational institutions, community organizations, and public entities. Every project has been an opportunity to build trust, deliver accessible solutions, and leave a positive mark on the spaces we transform.
6. What is your favorite thing about what you do? What are your favorite moments?
What I enjoy most is helping people regain comfort, safety, and autonomy in their spaces. Every project is a chance to improve someone’s quality of life. My favorite moments are when a client tells me they can now move freely, and that their home finally meets their needs. Those words confirm I’m on the right path.
7. What are the biggest transformations you’ve seen through your work, for your clients?
I’ve witnessed profound transformations—both in spaces and in people. From inaccessible bathrooms turned into safe, functional areas, to entryways that allow wheelchair access for the first time. But the most powerful change is how these technical improvements build confidence, independence, and emotional well-being. Every project is more than a remodel—it’s a way to restore dignity and quality of life.
8. What is a funny story about you, or that you’ve experienced on the job?
Once, while taking measurements in a client’s home, their dog became obsessed with my tape measure. Every time I set it down, he’d grab it and hide it in the laundry room. In the end, the client and I decided to install a special drawer just for the dog’s toys—including a spare tape measure. It was a fun experience that also showed how spaces can adapt to every member of the family… even the furry ones.
11. What was it like being in the army? What did you learn from that?
My time in the army was a key chapter in my personal and professional development. I learned to work under pressure, respect the chain of command, and value teamwork. The discipline, punctuality, and commitment I gained there remain core pillars of my business. I also developed a service mindset—understanding that personal effort can improve others’ lives. That vision stays with me in every project I take on.
